Student Testimonials
I never liked math or statistics thinking it was too difficult but you really helped me understand it in such an easy way! I have never had a professor that somehow made a subject so easy to understand. In fact, I actually am fascinated by it now. Seeing another black woman and East African woman (I'm Sudanese) in this position made me realize I can go just as far. So thank you, for inspiring me this semester. I wish you the best in life always!”

Muna is beyond enthusiastic and it is obvious that she loves what she does. I took this class to fill a gen–ed, but ended up really enjoying my time because of Muna. ALSO, if there was ever a question or a concern, there was never a single moment where I felt that Muna would not address it to the best of her ability. She always worked to make sure we were all on the same page.
This instructor was both extremely knowledgeable about the course content and cared deeply for student learning. I always felt heard and respected by her, and could always feel comfortable asking questions.
I really loved that Muna was not only knowledgeable but also so incredibly enthusiastic about what she was teaching. She made the course far more exciting than it could have been and made the coursework accessible and interesting to us.
She took the time to work with everyone and answered questions as well as stayed after to help. Her willingness to go above and beyond showed and helped me learn the material
